What to expect

Especially in Colorado, predicting what the weather is about to do cannot only make for a safer trip, but it can lead to better fishing, more amazing views, and all around greater outdoor experiences. 

While the class is called cloud watching, there are several other activities aimed at learning to understand the weather and environmental factors surrounding each outdoor adventure.

Understanding the forces in our natural environment certainly increases the interest in outdoors and the many possibilities of adventure, but it also raises the level of safe activities we plan on each outing.

Who is this class for

This is one of the few classes where we have seen the younger adventurers struggle.  If you have a super independent kiddo we recommend waiting until they are comfortable with scissors, and spotting the differences.  Usually this is around age 5, younger adventurers are certainly welcome but they will require a bit more help from you.
